Very Plush

Your ideal level is primarily determined by your sleeping position and how much you want to sink into the mattress. Generally, side sleepers benefit from the pressure relief of our Very Plush or Plush options, while back and stomach sleepers need the spinal alignment provided by our Firm or Very Firm models. If you sleep in multiple positions, our Medium-Firm is the universal standard designed to handle it all. Medium-Firm is our most popular option, as it also provides a compromise for couples with different sleeping styles.

Does the Thermo-Adaptive foam feel different in cold or hot weather?

Unlike traditional memory foams that turn into a "rock" in the winter or become "mushy" in the summer, our Thermo-Adaptive foam is engineered for consistency. It maintains the same firmness level regardless of the temperature in your RV, Truck, or Cottage. You get the same support on a freezing night in the mountains as you do on a humid summer day.

I’m a heavier sleeper. Which level should I choose?

Body weight affects how you perceive firmness. If you are a larger individual, you will compress the comfort layers more deeply, which can make a mattress feel softer than intended. We typically recommend moving one step firmer—such as choosing Firm instead of Medium-Firm—to ensure you have the necessary support to keep your spine neutral.

What if I choose a comfort level and decide it’s not right for me?

We want you to be 100% confident in your foundation. That’s why we offer a 90-night trial on select models. We ask that you sleep on your new Nomad for at least 30 nights to allow your body to adjust to the new support profile. If it’s still not the perfect fit, we’ll work with you to make it right.

Can I change the comfort level on any Nomad mattress?

Our Nomad RV and Truck mattresses are built with a high-performance Medium-Firm profile to suit the widest range of travelers. However, our Home & Cottage Mattress (10-inch) is fully customizable, allowing you to select specifically between our Plush or Firm configurations at the time of purchase.
