Question 1

What sizes does the Nomad RV Mattress come in?

Accepted Answer

The Nomad RV Mattress is available in seven sizes: Twin Bunk (28" x 75" ), Double (48" x 75"), Short Queen (60" x 75"), Queen (60" x 80"), Short King (72" x 75"), King (72" x 80"), and Narrow King (70" x 80"). These sizes are specifically designed to fit the unique dimensions of Canadian RV sleeping areas.

Question 2

Will the Nomad Mattress fit in my RV or tractor-trailer?

Accepted Answer

The Nomad Mattress is designed to fit the most common RV and tractor-trailer sleeping areas. We recommend measuring your space before ordering. The mattress is shipped vacuum-sealed and roll-packed, making it easy to bring inside and position in tight spaces. If you have a custom or unusual space, contact us for custom sizing options.

Question 3

How is the Nomad RV Mattress different from a regular mattress?

Accepted Answer

Nomad RV Mattresses are specifically engineered for mobile living. They are lighter than regular mattresses to reduce vehicle weight, built with high-density foam for durability on the road, feature breathable covers to prevent moisture buildup, and come in RV-specific sizes that regular mattresses don't offer. They're designed to handle the unique challenges of temperature fluctuations and limited ventilation in RVs.

Question 4

What is your return policy?

Accepted Answer

We offer a 90-day sleep trial on all Nomad Mattresses. If you're not satisfied within 90 nights, you can return it for a full refund. The mattress must be in good, sanitary condition with no stains, tears, or damage. We recommend using a mattress protector. Contact customercare@nomad-mattress.com with your order number to initiate a return.

Question 5

How do I care for my Nomad Mattress?

Accepted Answer

To maintain your Nomad Mattress, rotate it occasionally like a tire (but less greasy). Avoid jumping on it. Place breathable material underneath to allow air circulation and prevent moisture buildup, especially important in Canadian climates. Use a mattress protector to keep it clean. The cover is machine-washable for easy maintenance.

Question 6

What warranty does the Nomad RV Mattress come with?

Accepted Answer

Every Nomad Mattress comes with a comprehensive 20-year limited warranty covering manufacturing defects, including sagging deeper than 1 inch, defects in seams, cover, and foam core. The warranty protects against manufacturing issues but does not cover normal wear and tear, damage from misuse, or comfort preferences.

Question 7

Is the Nomad Mattress made in Canada?

Accepted Answer

Yes, every Nomad Mattress is designed and manufactured in Canada with Canadian pride. We use premium materials and construction methods to ensure quality and durability. Our mattresses are built specifically for the Canadian market and climate, understanding the unique needs of Canadian RV owners and long-haul truckers.

Question 8

How long does shipping take for Nomad Mattresses?

Accepted Answer

We offer free shipping across Canada. Your Nomad Mattress will be delivered directly to your RV, home, or campsite. Shipping times vary by location but typically range from 5-10 business days. The mattress arrives vacuum-sealed and roll-packed for easy handling and setup.

Question 9

Can I use a regular mattress in my RV instead?

Accepted Answer

While you can technically use a regular mattress in an RV, it's not recommended. Regular mattresses are heavier, don't fit RV-specific dimensions (like short queen), and aren't designed for the moisture and ventilation challenges of mobile living. RV mattresses like Nomad are specifically engineered to handle condensation, temperature fluctuations, and the movement of travel while being lighter and properly sized.
