Where are Nomad mattresses made?
In Canada. Every Nomad mattress is made in Canada and ships from our distribution centre in Barrie, Ontario, free to most areas of Canada.
Can I put a regular mattress in my RV?
Usually not. RV beds use their own sizes, such as the Short Queen (60″ × 75″) and RV King (72″ × 80″), so a standard home mattress will often hang over the edge or block slide-outs. Nomad mattresses are cut to true RV sizes so they fit.
What size is an RV King mattress?
An RV King is 72″ × 80″, a Short RV King is 72″ × 75″ and a Narrow RV King is 70″ × 80″. The Original Nomad RV comes in all three, plus an Olympic Queen (66″ × 80″).
What is the best mattress for an RV Murphy bed or slide-out?
The Nomad Hinge. It is 6″ thick with a built-in 2/3 fold, so it folds cleanly into the wall and lays flat with no seam you can feel. It comes in Queen (60″ × 80″) and Short Queen (60″ × 75″).
Which Nomad mattress fits a semi-truck sleeper?
The Nomad Truck Mattress. It is 7″ thick with Thermo-Adaptive foam and transfer edge support, in sleeper widths of 32″, 36″, 39″ and 42″.
Will a Nomad mattress freeze in cold weather?
No. The Original RV, Hinge and Truck mattresses use Thermo-Adaptive foam, which responds to your body heat instead of the air temperature, so it stays comfortable on cold Canadian nights.
How long is the sleep trial and warranty?
The Original RV, Truck and Home & Cottage mattresses come with a 90-night sleep trial and a 20-year limited warranty. The Hinge and Slim come with a 60-night sleep trial and a 5-year limited warranty.
How fast does shipping take?
In-stock mattresses ship from Barrie, Ontario within 24–48 hours and usually arrive in 5–7 business days. Shipping is free across Canada, and the box fits through narrow RV doors.
How long does a Nomad mattress take to expand?
It is ready to sleep on within a few hours of unboxing and fully expanded within 24–48 hours.
Do you make custom sizes?
Not currently. Nomad makes the standard RV, truck and home sizes shown in the comparison above. If you need something different, contact us, because customer requests shape what we make next.
